NO.1 INHIBITOR
Action Mechanism
Inhibitor is an agent to protect metal corrosion from
acidic medium. It has been widely used in oilfield, oil
refinery, steelwork, metallurgy industry, etc. Its action
mechanism can be described as follows. Inhibitor molecules
are chemically adsorbed on the metal surface to form an
oil film. This film can protect the metals from the acidic
medium to inhibit metal corrosion.
Background
IMC-SHIDA NO.1 inhibitor was approved by China Nation
Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) on April, 1998. It was appraised
as "having remarkable inhibition efficiency, advanced
technology and powerful competition in the market. Studied
achievement is in the leader situation in the nation and
achieves international level. It is recommended as a product
with high quality by CNPC and has been applied to the
oilfield.
Application
This product can be sued in the verity of acidic mediums
and produce varied
Protecting corrosion agent. It has following applications.
1) Oil well and oil transportation pipelines
2) Protecting corrosion agent of oil and gas pipelines
in oil refinery
3) Acidic washing inhibitor for steel-making plant
4) Make up protecting rust lubricant oil and grease
Efficiency
It has apparent color of black tea color liquid with following
inhibition efficiency(25≧~150≧).
Inhibition efficiency of −95% in the acidic medium( PH+6.5)
and the concentration of 50mg/L
Inhibition efficiency of −95% in the in the HCl medium
(20%) and the concentration of 800mg/L
Inhibition efficiency of−96% in the H2SO4 medium (15%)
and the concentration of 800 mg/L
Comparisons
Weight loss can be decreased about ten times and three
times compared with other inhibitors respectively. The
percentage inhibition efficiency is increased about 14%
compared with inhibitor. IMC-SHIDA NO.1 inhibitor is superior
over all to the same business products in the corrosion
